Lucy Dacus is a Richmond, Virginia-born singer-songwriter whose emotionally incisive indie rock has earned her a devoted following and widespread critical acclaim. Her 2018 album Historian announced her as a major voice in the genre, pairing unflinching lyrical honesty with lush, patient arrangements, while Home Video deepened that intimacy with confessional storytelling rooted in memory and adolescence. Dacus is also a member of the supergroup boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. Her latest album, Forever Is A Feeling (2025), topped both Billboard's Rock Albums and Folk/Americana Albums charts, and a 2026 reissue of her 2016 debut No Burden, with new cover art and a previously unreleased song, is available for pre-order and set for release December 4, 2026.
