Counting Crows
Counting Crows are a rock band from Berkeley, California, known for their emotionally raw sound that blends folk, rock, and post-grunge with frontman Adam Duritz's distinctive, confessional songwriting. Their landmark 1993 debut August and Everything After produced the iconic "Mr. Jones" and established them as one of the defining voices of 1990s alternative rock. The follow-up Recovering the Satellites continued their exploration of longing and melancholy, cementing their reputation for deeply personal, anthemic storytelling.
Double vinyl LP pressing of August and Everything After, the 1993 debut studio release from Counting Crows. When the prevailing guitar jingle of 'Mr. Jones' cascaded over radio in the early 90s, it was a sure sign that the Counting Crows were a musical force to be reckoned with. Their 1993 debut album, August and Everything After, burst at the seams with both dominant pop harmonies and rich, hearty ballads, all thanks to lead singer Adam Duritz. The lone guitar work of 'Mr. Jones' coupled with the sweet, in-front pull of Duritz's voice kicked off the album in full force. The album cover depicts handwritten lyrics to a song called "August and Everything After", but the band decided against featuring the song on the album of the same name; it was not until over a decade later that it was played as part of one of their live concerts.

VINYL Details

Release Date: March 24, 2017

Record Label: Geffen

UPC: 602557097658

Number of Discs: 2

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1398/5745/files/Counting_Crows_August_and_Everything_After_Vinyl_LP.jpg?v=1781096746
counting-crows-recovering-the-satellites-vinyl
Recovering the Satellites Vinyl LP
Double vinyl LP edition of Recovering the Satellites, the 1996 release from Counting Crows.
